Ride free on old buses in service on London bus route 406!
Open-platform green buses with real conductors will run a FREE service between Kingston and Epsom (route 406) on Sunday 9th June 2024.
Buses being used will mostly be the iconic Routemaster, dating from the late 1950s and 1960s, and their predecessor the RT-type, which in the 1950s formed the largest standardised bus fleet in the world.
No need to book, just turn up at a route 406 bus stop and put out your hand!
As well as heritage buses running the FREE service over route 406, our portable Shillibeer Place Shop will be outside the Clock Tower in Epsom, with London bus gifts, souvenirs, books, models etc., so come along and say hello - or better still join as a member !
