Getting there ...

  • Arriving by train ~ train times to Weybridge station, connecting with free bus 462.  Please note there are engineering works on 23rd June and lines in the Wimbledon area are closed which may affect your journey; Check here for details.
  • FREE Bus Service 462 runs on a circular route linking Weybridge Station and Library with the Museum, using both heritage and modern (wheelchair-accessible) buses.  At the Museum, sets down at Stop A and picks up for Weybridge at Stop S.  Timetable here.
  • FREE Feeder Bus Service 462A times [PDF] - Fulwell - Teddington - Kingston - Tolworth - Epsom - Leatherhead - Cobham - Weybridge & return, observing ALL stops en route.  Courtesy of our friends at RATP, RML880 will be providing the service. At the Musuem, sets down at Stop A and picks from Stop S.
  • Arriving by car  : Click for directions. Please note that the northbound slip road on the A3 at the Painshill Junction with the A245 is CLOSED until August. The National Highways recommended diversion is to continue north on the A3 to the next junction and then return south to the Painshill Junction where the southbound slip road is OPEN.

    • 20 minute run around the Brooklands area at 11.30 and 13.30 (weather permitting - our Shillibeer Place shop does sell umbrellas!): tickets £10 per person - book tickets at the Bus Tours gazebo.  Buses depart from Stop T adjacent to the gazebo.
  • Tours by our 1930 Thomas Tilling AEC Regent ST922 
    • 20 minute run around the Brooklands area at 12.30 and 14.30: tickets £10 per person - book tickets at the Bus Tours gazebo.  Buses depart from Stop T adjacent to the gazebo.

Taxi !

  • Taxi rides by vintage 1955 Beardmore black cab - from opposite the museum entrance.  If our cabbie's light's on, he can be hailed and he does go south of the river - the River Wey that is!  Pay the cabbie and don't forget a tip!
