The 2014 TransportFest took place on Sunday 19th October.

Once again, the event had appeal to families and enthusiasts with a mixture of buses and other commercial vehicles. The Horse bus, and others, provided rides, children were entertained by Punch & Judy and Jazz band played in the Museum.

The London Transport Museum kindly brought their recently restored  World War 1 B-Type Battle Bus.

 

Featured in front of the Brooklands Club House were the four 1920 buses currently on display in the Museum.

462 TT TransportFest 2014 inc LHThe Museum’s Route 462  provided a circular route which included Weybridge Station. Due to engineering works, only Rail Replacement bus services operated to Weybridge so, in addition, three services operated from Leatherhead Station in the morning and three returning in the afternoon. Bus Rides
Our Horse bus will be offering rides off site to the Mini Concorde Roundabout fare £5
1922 Dennis Open top D142 will run around the Brooklands site

Longer rides for enthusiasts, duration about 90mins, Fare £5
RT1 at 1100 and 1400 and a guest vehicle at 1130 and 1430.
