OPEN Today!

The 61st London to Brighton Run, organised by the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society will start this year from Brooklands.

  • Participating vehicles will start to arrive at Brooklands around 2pm on Saturday 12th May. The finishing straight will accomodate overnight parking.
  • Brooklands will be open to the public from 7am on Sunday 13th May  and there will be catering on-site. Usual Brooklands entrance fees apply.
  • Vehicles will enter via the Campbell gate and exit via the Vickers gate.
  • Vehicle departures on the Sunday will be between 7:30 and 9:30am with steam vehicles leaving early - plenty of opportunities for filming!
  • There will be about 150 vehicles of all types entered for the Run, cars, lorries, buses and other commercials.
  • Two buses from the London Bus Museum will be attending.

Please note :  the M25 between junction 9 and 10 will be closed over the weekend of 11th and 12th May 2024. However the motorway between Junction 11 and 10 will be open and the A3 north and south. Therefore we would advise you to look for an alternative route to approach Brooklands Museum and allow plenty of time for your journey. The route we will be using from Brooklands to Leatherhead along the A245 is not the alternative route suggested by Highways.

If you have any queries, please either telephone Frazer Clayton 01403 822045 or email Mark Cooper of the May 2024 Brighton Run Organisation Team.
