Some good news at last about RLH53. Many Members generously contributed last year to the appeal to bring this bus home from the USA and add it to the Museum Collection. After being mired in US bureaucracy for many months and following a great deal of hard work by Chairman Peter Duplock, including many transatlantic phone calls, RLH53 (together with nos 69 and 71, destined for other homes back in the UK) has resumed its journey home. The bus is now on its way to the east coast shipping port and has been booked to sail on 31 March. It is due to arrive in Liverpool on 10 April. We will keep Members posted.
