“Private Hire” Appeal launched

The Museum has today launched a £30,000 appeal to complete the purchase and restoration of two 1951 coaches – RF19 and RFW6 – which were part of London Transport’s sightseeing and private-hire fleet of the 1950s/1960s. The objective is to put both of these wonderful coaches back on the road over the next two years so that they can illustrate the “private hire” story. Full details of the appeal and how you can support it are here.
