The Museum has today launched a £30,000 appeal to complete the purchase and restoration of two 1951 coaches – RF19 and RFW6 – which were part of London Transport’s sightseeing and private-hire fleet of the 1950s/1960s. The objective is to put both of these wonderful coaches back on the road over the next two years so that they can illustrate the “private hire” story.
